Scott Aycock grew up in northeast Arkansas, in a town called Marked Tree, nestled between the St. Francis River and the Little River. Scott now resides and works in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he is also a licensed marital and family therapist in private practice.

 

He is an award-winning poet and singer-songwriter, and has served as a poet with the Artists In The Schools program through the Tulsa Arts and Humanities Council.

Scott is the host of the long-running radio show Folk Salad, which airs on two Oklahoma NPR affiliate stations, KWGS and KOSU.

​

His passion to support those who make their living as singer-songwriters led him to create his successful house concert music series, called House Concerts Unlimited.
